THE PROBLEM

Unbalanced Batteries

One bank drains while the other sits full. You're constantly checking voltages and manually switching between banks. Your expensive batteries wear out unevenly.

Wiring Nightmare

Multiple relays, shunts, switches, and bus bars. A mess of cables that's impossible to troubleshoot. One loose connection and your whole system goes down.

No Visibility

You have no idea what's actually happening in your system. Is the battery at 50% or 20%? Is something draining power overnight? You only find out when it's too late.

Expensive Complexity

A proper dual-bank setup costs $1,300+ in components alone. Then you need an electrician to install it. And when something fails, good luck finding the problem.

FAQs

What current can KALION DUOTM handle?

75A continuous per bank with 150A surge capacity for motor starts and high-inrush loads. That's enough for inverters up to 3.6kW on a 48V system.

What battery voltages are supported?

KALION DUOTM automatically detects and supports 12V, 24V, and 48V systems (10-60V DC range). No manual configuration needed — just connect and go.

Is it waterproof?

KALION DUOTM is IP54 rated — protected against dust and water splashes. Perfect for engine rooms, under-seat installations, and outdoor enclosures. Not designed for direct water submersion.

How difficult is installation?

Just 6 power connections and 30-60 minutes. No electrician required. Connect your two battery banks, connect your load output, and power on. The touchscreen guides you through setup.

When will backers receive their units?

Early Bird backers are estimated to receive their KALION DUOTM units by July 2026. We'll keep you updated throughout production with regular backer updates.

Why not just buy a cheap battery isolator?

Basic isolators (€50-150) only do one thing — connect/disconnect based on voltage. They can't tell you state of charge, they don't track current flow, they have no app, and they don't optimize for solar or multiple charging sources and voltages.
KALION DUOTM replaces your isolator AND your battery monitor AND your display AND your shunts — all in one intelligent system with a 4inch color touchscreen WIFI and Bluetooth connectivity and a phone app.

How does your crowdfunding campaign work?

We're launching in two stages to bring KALION DUOTM to life:

Stage 1 — Indiegogo (Now): We're raising $15,000 to fund our production-ready prototype.
This is where you get the absolute best pricing — up to 50% off. Limited to 200 backers.
Stage 2 — Kickstarter (2026): Once the prototype is validated, we'll launch full production on Kickstarter. Early bird pricing still available but slightly higher.

Both platforms offer backer protection. Join our email list to be notified first
